A la dooce
Blogosphere darling Heather Armstrong regularly writes about the odd objects her daughter (age three) chooses to sleep with. Here's our take on it over at the Redhead's house. Maybe he was just really, really happy that Grandpa had replaced the batteries this weekend...or he was protecting it from Mom and Dad taking the batteries back out of it (which we did with the obnoxious talking grill that wouldn't stop talking--sorry Dad!).

In my defense . . .

I tried fixing that talking grill AND I suggested you take the batteries out if if kept talking. BUT -- keep them handy for our next visit! :)

Every grandchild needs a working drill! But, I was surprised how loud it got with new batteries.

He is soooo cute -- even when awake! :)

Love these pics...and the fact that he must treasure this special toy.

Hugs,
