It's nice to know the mortgage will be paid next month.
My husband is employed! He'll start a new job on Monday with a company about 75 miles from us.
And, because I'm sure that your inquiring minds want to know:
--Yes, I have some really cool stories about God taking care of us in this last month, despite my crappy attitude. I'll type them up when I get a chance to process them a bit more.
--Yes we will be putting this house on the market and trying to move. Prayers for a real estate miracle in yet another hideous market would be greatly appreciated. Real estate is very much proving NOT to be our thing!
--We actually had two job offers at the same time (a blessing and boost to my dh's confidence after the incident at the Company That Must Not Be Named).
--The other job was more lucrative by far, but would have moved us to the frozen north. Which we probably would have done if they had offered a house buyout. In the long run, the Florida job is a better choice for our family (right Grandpa?).
Thanks again for all of your kind and encouraging words.

Rejoicing, rejoicing! (By the way, you'll be even closer to my mom & dad's house in the new location - if I can ever get myself down there, that is, we'll have to get together for a visit.)
I'm praying about the house situation for sure.
Yahooty!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD IS SO AWESOME! YAY!
You're house WILL sell! It WILL!
Amen!
Whew! I'm glad you'll still be in my former home state, so I can come see you when I finally get there for a visit. We've been praying, and we're glad to see how God answered our prayer.
God can do anything, you know, even in a crappy housing market. So hang in there!
When you need a smile, go to my bunny blog and look at photos of baby bunnies. Awww.

Heather,
I have no idea what you mean by "right Grandpa?". However, just to be safe, I will stand on my constitutional right that I cannot be forced to testify against myself. :)
When Dave told us on the phone, Grandma (notice, not Grandpa) started "yelling 'Yay!' and was clapping as well. And, when he didn't hear it, she did it AGAIN!
I must admit that it took me awhile to surrender all of you to whatever decision He wanted. We really thought you would go to Delaware. We even checked out Amtrack to learn how we could get a "sleeper stateroom" so Mom would have a recliner and bed during the trip.
And, I will admit that I began some fairly serious grieving about not seeing my son, my redhead, and 4 of my 8 "world's BEST grandkids" as often as we had in the past 15 months. But, I was begining to handle it fairly well, with God's help and Mom's support.
Dave's phone call "stunned" me and I am still processing it. Mom and I are figuring out how she can make a 4 hour drive, but she is confident we will.
We have talked about your next visit to Moffitt -- she wants me to come over early so you can drive to your sister's in Tampa the day before. She is worried that a round trip and a day at Moffitt would be too much for you. And, you will have to put up with me for 2 nights instead of 1. But, I will spoil the grands and stay out of your hair. :)
God DID some miraculous things for you in the last year and a half -- and I am sure Mom and I don't know all of them. He truly is good all the time -- all the time He is good (even when we have a crappy attitude).
Love,
Dad
YAY!!! Glad to hear some good news from your corner. Now my question... will you be closer or farther for us to visit?
YAY! PTL!!!!! & ikwym! lol
I'm so glad he got a job! I'll be praying for a quick sell!
Shirley and I share your praise!!!
Praying that the house sells and you are able to continually point to God's amazing work---as Dad says, "even when we have a crappy attitude". You've been in our prayers.
Love,
Susan
