Warning: Shameless plug ahead!
I will readily confess that I'm not a huge fan of Christian fiction as a genre. But I've loved the personal connection of watching Amy Wallace grow and develop as an author over the years. Her first book, Ransomed Dreams, successfully blends romance and suspense, introduces characters intriguing enough that you'll want to know more of their stories (the second book in the series is due out next spring!), and communicates the truth of forgiveness in Christ without being trite or "preachy".
Check it out...and it you enjoy it as much as those of us who know and love Amy did, would you call your library and local bookstore and ask them to carry it too?
Thanks from a friend and fan.

Thank you so much for your amazing support and encouragement! I have your card on my desk and the memories of the book launch tucked in a special place in my heart. You are total heart chocolate!!!
Heather,
So good to read that you been cleared by the Doc! I think of you, Dave and the kids often especially when sitting in your rocker/slider chair. I have often relected on what a wonderful comfort the chair has proven to be especially when I have pushed too hard and the back is uncomfortable. It has been those times that I have talked to the KING and presented you before HIM and so I am encouraged that he has kept your laughter here on this earth for others to be encouraged by. I love to read your blog and pick up the bits and pieces about the family. Please give each one in the clan a warm and healthy hug, a kiss and then let them know that it is from that old guy Mr. Carver in AZ.
Again may the Lord bless and enrich each and every one of you,
Your indebted brother,
bob aka rc
I finished my copy this week while in Toronto and passed it on to my friend, Suzi. She'll read it and get it back to me. I loved the book...thank you again for getting me a copy!!
Hugs.
